Surface corer
Our sediment surface sampling devices for sediment depths from 0 to 3 m are listed in the Corer product group.
The so-called corers are designed and developed to sample the uppermost layers of sediments in stagnant waters with the highest degree of preservation of the layers, using gravity or kinetic energy (hammering), as easily and quickly as possible with a PVC pipe.
Small
defines the used diameter “60”.
For the application, PVC tubes with an outer diameter of 63 mm and an inner diameter of 59.5 mm are used.
